Wilbert Ross Calls Bea Binene ‘Wife Material’ Amid ‘Love U Lots’ Reunion

At the grand media conference for Viva One’s new series “Love U Lots” held at Robinsons Manila, actor Wilbert Ross described his onscreen partner Bea Binene as “wife material,” sparking excitement among fans. Ross initially called Binene “girlfriend material,” highlighting her caring nature, sweetness, and strong family orientation before elevating her status to “wife material.”

Bea Binene, in turn, praised Ross as a partner who is very goal-oriented and has a clear perspective on what he wants in life. She emphasized the importance of having plans rather than just “winging it.”

“Love U Lots” reunites Ross and Binene, affectionately known by fans as “WilBea,” following their successful collaboration in “Golden Scenery of Tomorrow (GSOT),” a popular University Series adaptation on Viva One. The new eight-episode romantic comedy series is directed by Victor Villanueva and is currently streaming on Viva One, with new episodes released every Friday.

The series also features Xia Vigor, Vito Quizon, Katya Santos, Janno Gibbs, DJ Durano, Candy Pangilinan, and Migo Valid. It centers on Ysa (Binene), a talented painter living with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), who finds solace in her art while trying to understand herself and hopes for a peaceful coexistence of her multiple personalities.

Ross plays Estong, a kind young man whose life unravels after a painful breakup and a scam that drains his savings. Lost and uncertain about his future, Estong unexpectedly meets Ysa, setting him on an unforeseen path.

Their lives intertwine when one of Ysa’s valuable paintings goes missing. Estong’s desire to help leads him into Ysa’s world, where he learns about her condition. What begins as a search for the painting evolves into a journey of trust, understanding, and a deepening connection.

As Estong gets to know Ysa, he encounters her different personalities. Rather than withdrawing, he accepts each with care and sincerity. Their bond grows stronger, and Estong realizes he is falling in love with all facets of Ysa.

However, their relationship faces challenges. Estong must contend with a rival for Ysa’s affection while rediscovering his own dreams and direction. Meanwhile, Ysa confronts the return of her past and the personal struggles it brings. Together, they must navigate these obstacles to determine if love can truly embrace every part of a person or if hidden truths will keep them apart.

When asked about their real-life feelings, Ross acknowledged the different forms of love and noted their long-standing partnership since “GSOT,” which allowed them to get to know each other well and collaborate on various projects. Binene agreed, emphasizing that working confidently with someone speaks volumes about their connection.

On what makes them feel “kilig” or romantic excitement, Ross mentioned the small gestures, like knowing a person’s favorite food or shows, which show genuine attention and care. He values a girlfriend who is caring, supportive, and understanding.

Binene said she values meaningful conversations and looks for a partner who is genuine, present, and respectful—not only to her but also to her family. She appreciates relationships where both partners continuously learn from each other and never run out of things to talk about, rather than superficial exchanges.
